At least at the Glen I could take the battle to Graeme - set the early pace with a 1:05:27 - here I am a bit sideways at turn 4 Graeme then took a few hundreths off to take first - then just as Monza put in a 1:05:08 to put it just beyond my personal best & make it pole at every race.

ZZ & Jack are upside down, Luigi facing the wrong way. A rare sight in an IGPS race start. Lap 4 & Graeme loses it at turn 4.....

...Giving me the lead Traffic Jam! - I lock up as I come across Mark

Due to warping mark was hard to pass - just squeeze by - but Mark clips my back wheel & goes off Joe gives me enough room to get by - just!

Another lap down for Mark - I was really worried he would warp into me I didn't realise how lucky I was - here is the next frame - Mark appears to have joined me in the Lotus cockpit!

Luigi spins at turn 4, John goes off avoiding him The two set off and 4 turns later, Luigi loses it under braking & his wild ride takes out John - big time

Graeme lapping Joe in unusual style...

...ends up perched on a hay bale - till he can find the shift-r button on the Ferrari steering wheel

John's Contribution
1) Clean start for the first three, but you can see the carnage unfolding
behind them.

2) carnage continues - Luigi lost it at the s/f line and took out two cars
as a result.

3) Our most esteemed league admin following Karissa thru a turn.  It seems
as if our hero is doomed...

4) However, skillful driving (and a bit of luck) on John's part prevented
what could have been a nasty accident.

5) Later in the race, John overtakes Wes Jones when approaching the
downhill right turn...

6) John brakes in time, but Wes locks up the brakes...

7) Result - Wes eats hay while John motors through the turn. http://www.paddedwall.org/igps/event7/glen07.gif
